please spend a day to University of Technology and Science in Saikung. There is a Chinese Restaurant there, food is OK not expensive, also food court/canteen.
If you drive, the parking fee is only $10 per hour for the first two hours. You may drive out of the carpark in two hours and re-enter to enjoy another 2 hours for $10.
The scenery is very good there, you may take a walk along the mountain.

Spend one or two days in Lautau, staying at the Silver Mine Hotel, enjoy the beach and food near the pier. Cycling or swimming etc.
