(x^-1/7) / (1/5) = 78125

First, dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by the reciprocal, so:

(x^-1/7) * 5 = 78125
x^-1/7 = 15625

Now, to get the x to an exponent of 1, you have to take both sides each to the -7th power , thanks to this rule:

(a^x)^y = a^(xy)

So we have:

(x^-1/7)^-7 = 15625^-7
x = 15625^-7

Negative exponents are the same as dividing it by 1 and removing the negative, example:

a^-x = 1/(a^x), so:

x = 1/(15625^7)

Makes it a very small number, approx 4.40 * 10^-30

I think the problem may be written incorrectly.
Suppose x = 78125, then

        [x^(-1/7)]÷(1/5) = 1

Could this be the equation, with x=78125 as the solution?

[x^(-1/7)]/(1/5) = 78125
x^(-1/7) = 78125(1/5)
x^(-1/7) = 78125/5
x^(-1/7) = 15625
x = 15625^(-7)
x = 1/15625^7
