Have you finished the Harry Potter series ?
If so, may be you can consider the “Lord of the Rings” series.
Or you can go for the books written Dan Brown – The Da Vinci Code and other books.
If you want some more interesting books, try the Lonely Planet series.
Gone With The Wind is also a good book for a Form 3 student.
If you can finish either one of the above suggestions, your English level will automatically be strengthened.

Sorry I haven't read this series, they are very popular series that girls love to read.
Regarding the books suggested by the about upstair people: Lord of the rings series, I tried to read it, they are old English has so many nouns that only appear in it's own series, kind of like older version of Harry Potter. I studied Shakeapeare in my English classes this school year, it's also old English, it can help your reading level.
I like the following books:
To kill a mockingbird
The book thief
The Chronicle of Narnia
A wrinkle in time
Pendragon series
You can also check on the Barnes & Noble web site, they have many awards, they have many good books and you can find books that you will love.

Language skill should divide to four parts: reading, writing, listening and speaking, my English teacher said that you have to improve the about. So get ready to write more, have conversation with your friends. You can also watch some tv shows, especially some children programs, help you review your basic conversation.

I also think that the Harry Potter series is not difficult and interesting.
You can also first read to book, then the chinese book or the movie.

However, I don't recommond you to read the “Lord of the Rings” series or The Da Vinci Code.
Because they are too difficult to the f.3s.

The Princess Diaries are all very funny and interesting. They are quite easy to read.
You can find out the stories details yourself.

I think for a teenager, you should read some classical books,
for example, the book written by shakeapeare like "Macbeth", "Romeo and juliet" etc. They are all classical books, everyone in should have read they in their lives. They have deep meaning in every stories. Try to take alook and choose one that attracts you.

also, you can try the Penguin readers. They are simplified texts designed in association with Longman, the world famous education publisher, to provide a step-by-step approach to the joys of reading for pleasure. Each book has an introduction and extensive activity material. They are published at 7 levels from Easystarts (200words) to Advanced (3000 words). You can start from the beginning and promote bit by bit!!

if you wanted to improve your english, apart from reading, you can also learn from doing exercises. I suggest you to buy some exercises to do. They help to guide you and give some examples to you to learn.
