The product of any two fractions are the product of their numerators over the product of the denominators. Here is no different, other than you have three items to multiply together.
(13/7) * (49/2) * (4/39)
You can either multiply them all first, then simplify, or cancel out like factors now when they're still in pieces, then multiply it. I tend to try to cancel factors first .. so I'll start by cancelling out a 7 from the first two:
13 * (7/2) * (4/39)
Now a 2 from the last two:
13 * 7 * (2/39)
And finally, a 13 from the first and last:
1 * 7 * (2/3)
The answer becomoes 14/3, or 4 and 2/3.
If you multiply it all first: 2548/546, you get the same answer after simplification, but that step is more difficult at this point since you'll have to break it up to figure out the LCM.
