[好緊急!]歐洲火車證 RESERVE EURAIL PASS RESERVE

我買左2nd class YOUTH PASS,會坐以下的TRIP,7月用:

1.FRANKFURT TO STRASBPURG
2.STRASBOURG TO BASEL
3.BASEL-LUCERNE
4.LUCERNE-ZURICH
5.ZURICH-BASEL
6.BASEL-STRASBOURG
*7.STRASBOURG-PARIS (tgv)
*8.PARIS-STRASBOURG (tgv)
9.STRASBOURG-FRANKFURT

除左trip 7,8,其他都係/可以坐ic/ice,或者慢車
我想問:
a.我睇本booklet 只係mark左tgv係compulsory要reserve,咁其實ic/ice係咪真係唔洗reserve?
(我知TGV無論點都要RESERVE的~)
我坐GE TRIP都唔係個MAP列出黎話要RESERVE GE ROUTE,佢只係話
TRAIN TYPE:-ICE TRAIN;
Countries:-GERMANY to FRANCE
ROUTE:FRANKFURT to PARIS
呢條ROUTE 先要RESERVE,即係FRANKFURT去STRASBOURG 就算坐ICE都唔洗RESERVE?係咪?

b.我第一個train trip係由hk 去frankfurt 落機GE第二日就去strasbourg(france),時間表上有兩個TIME GE trip係坐tgv要reserve,,其他都係ice only,咁我如果之前gor晚先去frankfurt車站reserve 得唔得?又或者坐火車當日先reserve?

c.如果真係要出發之前好多日/幾日RESERVE定,即係O係HK
RESERVE,咁係咪全部TRIP一次過RESERVE晒先好D?

D.係咪冇得ONLINE RESERVE?(如果O係HK)一定要THROUGH 學聯先RESERVE 得?

a.July is already the busy season. The 2nd class will be full of students and people going for vacation. Therefore I strongly recommend you to reserve your seat. I went there end May people and I was too old to buy a 2nd class Youth Pass, so I bought a 1st class Pass. People in the train station already told me that for end May the train might not be very full so I did not need to make a reservation. They said if I travel later like in mid June I better make a reservation first.
I was only taking the IC or ICE train.
If you do not make a reservation then you may have to stand for one or two city and then may get a seat after some people gets off the train.

b. I think it is too risky for you to reserve on the day you arrive Frankfurt because you are going to take the next day train. It is even more risky if you reserve on the day that you are going to take the train.

c. If you have decided to reserve then of course the sooner the better. If you are quite sure that your routing and schedule will not be changed, then you better reserve in HK ASAP for whole trip.

D. No, as far as I know you can reserve on line. They will charge the reservation surcharge to your credit card. If you do it through學聯 then you save the trouble because they will do all the work for you and you will pay the charge in 學聯with a receipt. This is more safe than using your credit card.
