I have tried lots of ways to find a friend I had when I used to live in HK, but now I have lost his contacts, I ve tried face book and myspace that kind of stuff but still not success. Does anyone know any more good ways I can try?

My suggestion is to make use of "Networking" via all your friends & relatives. Please give your friend's detail to all your friends & relatives and ask them to forward to all their friends for help. If not, repeat the same for all friends for one more level.
