disapointment

regret never goes away, and I have to deal with it every day of my life until I just give up and go into depression..... Then maybe something would come along and take me out of depression and I could live my life again, normal, but behind all the normal-ness my regret would still be there, slowly eating away at my soul, making me sad again.....

lol I`m so dramatic..... Anyway, regret is WAY worse.

Disappointment. Regret gnaws away at you and stays with you for a long time.

I would rather deal with disappointment. In this case, I am able to bounce back - however, regret means that I made a decision that was not based on true facts or was based on emotions and have second thoughts about it.
