Redoing room.?

I get to redo my room for my 15th birthday, but I'm having trouble figuring out what to do.

I want it to be colorful, but not to out there. I've looked up teen bedroom ideas, but a lot of them that I've seen are very kid-ish. I always have problems finding bedding I like.

I was thinking of something fashion-y maybe or having like a new york theme. But, I'm up for anything.

Any ideas? Pictures?
Or places to look?
I like some of the urban outfitters stuff, but not their bedding.
