鵝眉月的功能?

「鵝眉月」在球例中稱為：“penalty arc　”



以下是Laws of the Game (Law 1 ---- the Field of Play)對 “plenalty arc　”的定義：

”Within each penalty area a plenalty mark is made 11m (12 yards) from the midpoint between the goalposts and equidistant to them. An arc of a circle with a radius of 9.15m (10 yards) from each penalty mark is drawn outside the penalty area.”



凡射罰球時，對方球員必定要離球十碼 (9.15m)，故此在射十二碼罰球時，所有球員（己方及對方）都必須離球十碼，而皮球則要離球門最入的中心點十二碼。皮球放在 peanlty mark （十二碼罰球射球點）。



禁區的長度只有18碼 (16.5m)。根據上述的射十二碼罰球的規矩，若果沒有「鵝眉月」，球員離球只得 6碼。因此，要畫上「鵝眉月」（半圓），在這個半圓內的任何一點，距離 penalty mark 都剛剛是十碼（指其半徑 ----- radius ）。因此，除了負責射十二碼的球員外，其他球員都要站在這個「鵝眉月」之外，那就符合「離球十碼」的規矩。



「鵝眉月」是在禁區(penalty area)之外，只有在射十二碼罰球時才用得著。
