Can someone help me out with my homework? (idioms)?

Help me make a sentence with any of these idioms.
I have it's meaning with, but I just don't have any idea in making sentence with these. plz help me

1. give someone a dressing down-- scold; reprimand
2. drown out-- overwhelm; eliminate by some overpowering force
3. throw in the sponge-- give up; quit
4. spirit away-- abduct; cause to disappear mysteriously
5. string along with-- cooperate with
6. call a spade a spade-- call something by it's actual name; use plain direct speech

I need to illustrate the sentence so make sure that the sentence is not difficult for illustrating. tnx

2. the saddness drown out over the family who lost their love one.

3. for all the hurt he have felt, he just throw in the sponge

4. my brother spirited away his love one.

5. the president wants her people string along with her rules

6. "dont call her *****, just call a spade a spade."
