Anyone know the name of this movie?

I think Macaulay Culkin is the main character in this movie, but I am not quite sure.

It is about a boy (Macaulay Culkin)'s father wants to find a new mother for his son, but his son doesn't really want to have a new mother.The father eventually know a woman. The woman has rabies. The boy and the woman don't like each other...
There is a little girl in this movie. The boy and the little girl become friends at the end of the movie. Finally, these two children go together to deal with the bad woman.

I also remember a scene.
It is about the woman changes their(the father and his son) house from blue to red.
