6x + 9x = -109 - 11

-10x + 45x = 192 - 7

-6x - 30x = 15 - 223
-36x = -208
x = -208/(-36)
x = 52/9

the following is just the way I decided i wanted to do it

( sorry Only have time to help with one) subtract 6x from both sides and you get -15x
then add 109 to both sides and you end up getting 120=-15x (the 109 cancels out)
next divide -15x by -15 and 120 divided by -15 and you get

-8 as x

15x=-120
x=-120/15=-8

18x=-144
x=-8

35x=185
x=37/7

36x= 208
x = 52/9

6x+11=109-9x
So this becomes
6x+9x = 109-11
Notice that -9x becomes +9x because you took it to the other side of the equal sign. Its the same reason for +11 to -11

6x+9x=109-11 This becomes 15x=98
x - 98/15

The best method for this type of equation is rearranging the thing until it makes more sense. So, for example, with the first one:

6x + 11 = -109 - 9x is pretty gruesome. If you add 9x to both sides, you can get rid of that nasty -9x to give you a positive integer.

Now you have 15x + 11 = -109. If you take away 11 from the left side, you're left with 15 x = -109.

The final step is to divide the whole thing by 15 to give you a single sum of x. So -109/15 = -7.26 ish.

Therefore, x = -7.26.
