Depends on what your career path will be - if you're in science, especially chemistry and pharmacology, then German is the most useful. A lot of the historical break through in the field of chemistry were done by German chemists and the papers recording their findings are always in German.
Besides, Germany is where most of the chemists jobs are, along with Scandinavia.
I didn't say Spanish isn't useful either, just depends on what you want to do with the languages. If you're in the media field, the Spanish and French are more 'popular' than German.
To help you decide: Spanish is much easier to learn than German; German helps with English grammar (to understand English grammar's origin) - need a good background in English to learn.
