Topic: Teacher should get paid according to their student's results.

Good afternoon 8J and Mr Tsai, I'm Kathy, and I will be second speaker of the negative team who will be disagreeing that teachers should get paid according to their student's results.

But, before I begin I would like to rebut some points put forward from the affirmative team......................

Now I will be discussing different reasons why it is not fair for the teachers if they get paid according to their students' result.

Firstly, a student's result is a reflection of how that student performs in school and how much effort they put in their study. For example, if a student often does not complete their work, and gets bad marks for their results, then it would be unfair to blame that the teacher because it is not the teacher's fault.

Secondly, some students have learning difficulties and that will bring the overall class averages in their grade, down.
Also some schools have low funding and may not have very useful resources for the teacher and students to use to improve the learning of the class.

But, before I begin I would like to rebut some points put forward from the affirmative team...................... First, sttudents' results will improve because teachers will be motivated to teach well.
Second, teachers' laziness will be corrected through the new pay scale. This arguement is not right because the attitudes of teachers should be improved though communication, not giving money.
These are reason why it will be hard to pay teachers based on students' results. Students' results are sometimes difficult to measure and it will put pressure on the school funding.
