Shan Shan starts off from city A and cycles at a speed of 100m/min towards city B. At the same time, Tze Ming and Siu Ying starts off from city B and cycle towards city A at 80m/min and 75m/min respectively. If Shan Shan meets Siu Ying 6 minutes after she has met Tze Ming, find the distance between the cities A and B.

let D be the distance between A and Bthe time that Shan Shan met Tze Ming is D/(100+80)min, and
the time that Shan Shan met Siu Ying is D/(100+75)min
then, we have
D/(100+75)-D/(100+80)=6
D/175-D/180=6
36D/6300-35D/6300=6
D/6300=6
D=37800m
