i'm thinking of purchasing a laptop, but i am not quite sure which one to purchase out of two laptops.

1.)
Network Interface: 10/100 LAN Ethernet integrated; integrated NIC with modem, Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN,

2.)
Network Interface : NIC/Broadcom WLAN / BT

Laptop number 1 or 2 for better network interface?

1.) Hard Disk:120G?

2.) Hard Disk: 80 GB?

Which is better? Laptop 1 or 2?

Thank you :), would be great if you can answer these two questions.

Well it seems quite obvious that 1 is the better choice. I would really recommend buying a mac though and running Windows Xp using parallels. It depends on your budget. I can't afford a mac ibook but If I could I would.

40GB is ENOUGH!!! are you nuts!!! Maybe if your writing text emails to your sweet heart in Finland and downloading a picture a week....40GB is pretty much a throw in the dumpster drive now.

Whichever you get, be sure to buy from a company that offers good support. It is as important as the price - trust me.

I have Dell and HP products and am happy with both. Both offer quick "chat" support.

Re: Size of HD -- Depends on what you want to do. I use my PCs only for work. If you intend to noodle around with movies, games, music ... anything graphic consumes memory and hard disk space. For anyone who uses his/her computer as I do, 40gb is more than enough, although my new one came with 80gb. As of this writing, I have 57gb free.

Another thing. As important as size of HD is the amount of RAM you buy. Again, for my work, 1gb is sufficient. For games, you will probably want 2gb.
