me and my 10 yr old daughter spent the day in the sun and the public community pool yesterday and even though we took a quick shower there at the public shower after...our hair felt "hard" from the middle down and nasty notted...what can i put in our hair before we go in the pool again like that???

There's a lot of ways to fix this. If you go to the pool a lot you should invest in swimmer's shampoo and conditioner. They sell it at almost any grocery or drugstore. Another way to fix it is to rinse your hair right before you go in the pool. Then put leave in conditioner on too. It acts as a shield for your hair.
Also, you can simply wear a swim cap. It's not the most stylish but it works,

Just rise her hair with tap water right before entering the pool.
That way the hair doesn't have the ability to absorb the chlorinated water.

you should just have another shower with heavy shampoo and conditioner, any will do. by the way it's perfectly normal for that to happen after to long in the pool.

Just put some conditioner in it and it protects your hair from absorbing a lot of the chlorine.

i dont know how to do, but in my opinion that is not to do so much sunbathe so long and put some hair protected liquid
