1: AB is the longest side
AC² = 10² - 8²
AC = 6cm
(6 x 8) / 2
= 24cm²

2: AC is the longest side
(10 x 8) / 2
= 40cm²

thus the area = 24 or 40 cm²

Use Pyth. theorem
Height =10²-8²=6²
∴Area=8*6/2=24cm²
