was/were係Past Continuous Structure:
The past continuous is usually used to refer to events happening at the same time that something important happened in the past.

Subject + conjugate the helping verb "be" + verb + -ing.

如果用例3,你可以話...It was raining at 4 o'clock on Sunday.落雨可能係between 2o'clock to 6 o'clock.係這段時間都係落雨.雖然was/were/did都係past tense,但係was/were係past continous,通常使用過去連續,當一次行動在別的之前開始了,并且在它以後完成.
