why stay in london for so long? It is not such a great city (I've been there many times..)

and how will you get to Italy? plane or train?
if I were you I would follow a one direction
route and travel along the way.
now you are going north and then to the very
south.

I personally suggest that you take a plane from Scotland to Italy,
because it is probably cheaper and will take
less time (because your stay is so short). try

If u want to go to scotland and italy i would do this: London -> Edinburg (and surroundings)
plane to -> Rome, train to florence, train to venice and plane back to london.

Italy will be very hot, but slightly cold in the evening.

I strongly reccomend that you book early in
advance of your trip, because hostels tend to
become full quite soon during the summer. Don't expect to be able to stay in a hotel in venice.. it is really expensive and always full, u will
stay outside the city.

in the 5 days in london, i will go to Bath, Cambridge, and Greenwich ar, so only 2 days stay in london purely.

Seems vy little flights from Edinburgh to Rome, seems no non-stop flights. Get to stop at London airports for hrs for the transit.. timing vy not match ar.. >.
