有2條數,不太明問甚麼...

1. Find the equation of the locus of the mid-points of all line segments which pass through (2,3) and terminate at the coordinate axes.

2. Find the equation of the locus of the point of trisection closer to the x-axis of all line segments that terminate at the coordinate axes and with length 6 units.

我不明白「terminate at the coordinate axes」和「point of trisection closer to the x-axis」...

不需要解上面那2條數,只需解釋解釋那2句就行了,謝謝!

That is one end of the line is (2,3) while the other end of the line segment is on the x-axis (x,0) or on the y-axis(0,y).
Q.2
Trisection means cutting the line segment into 3 parts and to find the locus of the one that is closer to the x-axis.

Q.2 The ends of the line segment is always on the x-axis and the y-axis and its length is 6 units. (Just like a ladder against the wall).

For Q.1, it is more likely that the line is having both ends on the x- and y-axis and passing through point (2,3).You are asked to find the locus of the mid-point of such a line.
