三人制籃球運動是傳統籃球運動的一個延伸，場地設備要求簡單，而且對校園文化，學生身心健康均有着正面作用。本文通過對學校的場地、設備、資源、訓練人員、學生的興趣和參與程度等各方面，研究在中學推廣和發展三人籃球運動的可行性和就發展的策略提供參加意見。結果表明，香港大部分中學有足夠條件開設三人制籃球運動，而且若該項運動在香港各中學推廣普及後，將為香港帶來正面積極的影響。

3-player basketball is derived from the traditional basketball game. It requires simple equipment but can contribute positively to the development of campus culture, as well as to the physcial and mental well-being of students. In this essay, we shall discuss the feasibiliy of developing the sports in secondary schools and strategies to promote them in light of availability of equipment, avenue, resources, trainers, and the level of reception by students. It will be concluded that most secondary schools in HK are well positioned to introduce the sports. The promotion of the sports widely is believed to benefit the Hong Kong community at large.
