U have to factorise top and below.

If u factorise the term below (2x^2 ....), u should be able to get (2x+7)(x-2).U should also get 4(2-x) for the term at the top.

4(2-x) = -4(x-2)

(8 - 4x)/(2x^2 + 3x - 14)
= 4(2 - x)/(-2x - 7)(2 - x)
= 4/(-2x - 7)
