3:As I can remember, the movements of the magma as convection currentsare due to the radioactivities in the hot core of the earth. The energyreleased makes the magma closer to the core rise.

4: Yes! Asthe magma becomes closer to the crust, it cools and sinks, driving thecrusts known as tectonic plates apart from each other, towards eachother or just sideways.

5: The boundary of plates along whichthe plates converge is called destructive plate margin and along whichthey diverge is called constructive plate margin.


6: We canoften find volcanoes in these two margins! Magma rises along theconstructive plate margin directly and comes out as lava, the lava thencools and solidifies.

7: While magma comes out from cracks orlines of weakness along destructive plate margin. But do you know thereis one very special exception?

8: I don't know.

9:It's Hawaii, a volcanic island formed far away from the boundaries! Theformation is due to the hot spot in the centre of Pacific Plate! It'sso weak that the magma under the spot is allowed to come up aseruptions!
