Ingredients
20 pieces of wonton wrapping
10 prawns
1/4 pound of pork
1 egg
some finely chopped onion / Chinese yellow chives
some green vegetables
some sesame seed oil, some pepper
The Broth
Chicken powder
Shell the prawn, wash and dry. Cut into halves with a pair of scissors. Set aside. Do not discard the shell.
Separate egg yolk from the egg white. Put the seasoning into the egg white. Beat the egg yolk.
Put the grinded pork, prawn and seasoning into a big mixing bowl. Stir until it turns sticky. Put the mixture into a freezer and let it freeze for 15-20 minutes.
Lay the wonton wrapping flat on the table. Put a suitable quantity of pork mixture on it with half a prawn for each piece of wrapping. Brush egg-yolk on the rim of the wrapping. Wrap it up to make a Wonton. Press the Wonton softly so that it is firm. Do not allow air to be kept inside or the Wonton will burst when cooked in water.
Bring a pot of water to boil. Put into the Wontons and let them cook for 2-3 minutes or until they float. Remove the Wontons from the water and put them into a serving bowl.
Put in broth, vegetables, sesame seed oil and pepper on the Wantons. Srpinkle green onion and Chinese yellow chives. Ready to serve.
