what are weak acids and strong acids?

weak acid: acetic acid, citric acid, carbonic acid
strong acid: nitric acid , hydrochloric acid , sulphuric acid
strong acid is one that is completely ionized in water.
weak acid is one that is slightly ionized in water.

weak acids are acid that hydrogen ions / H3O+ slightly deionised in water
their Ka is relatively smallc omparing that of strong acid
e.g. ethanoic acid, carbonic acid
strong acids are acid that hydrogen ions / H3O+ almost completely deionised in water
their Ka is relatively large comparing that of weak acid
e.g. HCl, H2SO4
