formula required is as followed:
n = 360˚/θ - 1
Where
n is the no. of images formed; and
θ is the angle made between the 2 mirrors.
For example, if 2 mirrors form an angle of 90˚, the no. of images formed by the two is
360˚/90˚ - 1 = 4 - 1 = 3
Hope these help. =]]]

I have calculated, and the answer for θ = 80˚ should be 3.5 instead.
I am figuring why...

Now I understand why.
The above formula is valid only if θ is a factor of 360˚. Since 80˚ is NOT a factor of 360˚, the formula no longer holds.
