pyth. theorem, for a given right angle triangle, (AB)^2 = (AC)^2 (BC)^2
(AB)^2 = (20)^2 (50)^2
= 400 2500
= 2900
Therefore,
AB = sqrt(2900)
= 53.85cm (approximated to 2 decimal place)
