Disadvantages:
- Price of goods will be increased and local people may not afford to buy the goods.
- Too much focus in Olympic and other entertaining activities will be prohibited i.e. concert
- Create noice and pollution
- Government spending will be increased due to building renovation and contruction building
- Local people may need to pay more tax as government spending is higher.

Advantages:
- Enhance tourism
- More business with airline, hotel, shopping centres, manufacturer and restaurant
- Increase of value of local currency (RMB)
- Gain more foreign money
- Culture exchange
- Establish better relationship with other foreign countries

Disadvantages of Olympics:
1.In the history, there are lots of examples that foreign countries have a great debt, which some of them needs over twenty years to pay all the debts.
2.The people may need to use the taxes they paid to construct arenas and related facilities. During constructions, noises and dusts may be produced (affect the health of local residents), tradition buildings were damaged to build the facilities.
3.Beijing is now in lack of hotels and hostels, if tourists do not have place to sleep at that time, it will lead to serious problems, and leaving a bad image for them.
Advantages of Olympics:
1.Affirmation of China. Other countries may affirm the power of China.
2.Though there is a risk, it still has a chance of gaining profits (including tourism).
3.local people may know more about the outer world.
