This is how I wrote down the answer...
= 5t x 7 - 5t x 4k - 40tk
= 5t x 2t x 4k - 40tk
= 10t x 4k - 40tk.
When I had checked in the back of the book to see if I had gotten this right, it was wrong. The actual answer was...
35t - 60tk

If you donot follow rule (which young generation donot like to)This will happen. How do write 7 -5t = 2t?
5t x 7 - 5t x 4k - 40tk is correct but now work out BODMAS rule. Multiplication first!
So its 35t - 20tk - 40tk = 35t - 60tk. nswer in the book is right.
Learn to remember and follow rules, at least in Mathematics.

then copy the negative sign and add the numerical coefficients..
