現時高清播放(如H.264)是需要佔用CPU甚高資源(loading over 50%),如用硬解,刖交由display card的GPU負責影像編碼,以减輕CPU的loading!

一般電腦產品分為軟解和硬解

軟解 : 較簡單，常通會以軟件程式將特定硬件的程式作輕微更改，令原本硬體(hardware)的路徑有所更改，但這個程式必須跟足程序處理，否則可能對產品做成嚴重傷害！

硬解 : 通常以加插一些外來硬件令原本硬體的路徑更改，這個程序大部份人亦會給店舖處理，當然會是最大風險：
1. 加插的硬件是否符合安全標準，如不是安全標準可引致整件產品報銷
2. 人為問題，師夫亦有新與老手之分，如新手處理可能品質差令產品損傷亦不足為奇
3. 本身產品是原好無缺，而且電腦版亦是按安全標準生產，如加入其他物件，亦影響安全標準，亦影響電腦版的運行令產容易受損！

由於軟解需要程式員作時間編寫，而且亦做了大量實驗或程式更改，所以程式往往很遲才會出現，但硬解是加入特定物件(屬非法改裝)令硬體航道改變，但長期性會對原本產品的壽命減短，所以硬改如非必要亦不會作考慮之選
