1.)一個分數, 分子, 分母,的和是43, 如果分母加上17, 這個分數約3分之1, 原來這個分數是多少?
2.)一個分數, 分子與分母是55, 若分母減去5, 所得的新分數約分後是4分之1, 原來的分數是多少?
3.)一個分數的分母比分子多15, 把它約分後得10分之7 , 這個分數是多少?
4.)一個分數加上它的一個分數單位等於1, 減去它的一個分數單位等於6分之5, 這個分數是多少?

1. Let the number be x/(43-x).When adding 17 to (43-x), the new number is x/(60-x). Therefore, x/(60-x)=1/3 or 3x=60-x, therefore x=15. That is the number is 15/28.2. Let the number be x/(55-x). When subtracting 5 from (55-x), the new number is x/(50-x). That is x/(50-x)=1/4 or 4x=50-x, therefore x=10. That is the number is 10/45.
3.Let the number be x/(x+15). Therefore, x/(x+15)=7/10 or 10x=7x + 105, therefore, x=35. That is the number is 35/50.
4.Let the number be x/y. Therefore, x/y + 1/y =1.
Also, x/y - 1/y = 5/6. Adding the 2 equations together, we get 2(x/y)=1+5/6=11/6, therefore, x/y=11/12, that is the number is 11/12.

x+y=43→y=43-x...(1)
x/(y+17)=1/3.........(2)
把(1)代入(2)：x/60-x=1/3 3x=60-x x=15 y=28
