Is there any different between urethan, urethane and polyurethanes?

Urethan:
Urethan is a word in German. It is equivalent to “urethane” in English.

Urethane:
Urethane is also known as ethyl carbamate. Its systematic name is ethyl aminomethanoic acid. The structure of urethane is shown below:

Polyurethane:
Polyurethene is NOT produced by ethyl carbamate (urethane).
Polyurethanes are a group of polymers. A polyurethane (PU), is any polymer consisting of a chain of organic units joined by urethane links. The structure of one of polyurethanes is shown below:
