4) Let x be the number of adult ticket sold

15x + 5(830-x) = 5250
3x + 830 -x = 1050
2x = 220
x = 110
Number of Student ticket sold = 803-110 = 720
Therefore 110 adult tickets sold and 720 student tickets sold

5) Let p be the part on 4%
p x (4%) = (6300-p) x (5%)
0.04p = 315 -0.05p
0.09p = 315
p = 3500
Part on 5% = 6300 - 3500
= 2800
Therefore $3500 on 4% and 2800 on 5%

6) Let t be the number of adult ticket sold
7.5t + (450-t)x5 = 2600
7.5t+2250-5t = 2600
2.5t = 350
t = 140
Student ticket sold = 450-140
=310
Therefore there are 140 adult ticket sold and 310 student ticket sold.

7) Let n be the weight of $9/kg nuts
9n + 6.5(10-n) = 10x8
9n+65-6.5n = 80
2.5n = 15
n = 6
Weight $6.5/kg nuts
= 10-6
=4
Therefore, there are 6kg of $9/kg nuts and 4 kg of $6.5/kg nuts.
