What is the best way to display scientisfic formula & result

I wanna display a scientisfic formula in the computer and also want to get the
result directly after inputting the figure into the formula. I tried excel, even
though it can provide the result but it couldn't present the formula in a nice
way. Does anyone know any software which can help me out? Thanks for
helping!

Excel can definitely help you to calcaulate scientific formula, you just need to setup the formula nicely in the spreadsheet.

If you want to display the formula like in those mathematics textbook, you may want to use MS Word.

On the Insert menu
click Object
and then click the Create New tab.
In the Object type box, click Microsoft Equation 3.0.

this one helps you to display the formula in a more presentable way.

If that still cant help, you may want to try other mathematics software like MATHCAD or MATLAB
