9x > 6x+57
3x > 57
x > 19

9x-8>6x+49
3x - 8 > 49
3x > 57
x > 57/3
x > 19

9x - 8 > 6x + 49

Add on 8

9x > 6x + 57

Subtract 6x

3x > 57

Divide by 3

x > 57/3

So x > 19

i assume you mean that the exponent of 40 9 is x - 6 (?7)^(6x) = 40 9^(x–6) ?7 = 7^(a million/2)... so: [7^(a million/2)]^(6x) = (7^2)^(x-6) 7^(3x) = 7^[2(x - 6)] comparable base, so the exponent is the comparable: 3x = 2(x - 6) 3x = 2x - 12 x = -12 understand that (a^m)^n = a^(m*n) i'm hoping this helps...

9x - 8 > 6x + 49 =
9x - 6x > 49 + 8
3x > 57
x > 57 / 3
x > 19
x = {20, 21, 22, 23, 24, ...}

The graph is, if you scretch a ruler of nominal, you'll start from 19 to the right, but the 19 is excluded. Except if the marks are >/ (> with a line under it), you must include the 19.
I'm sorry I can't give any picture of example.
-_-
