Today, I would like to talk about why wouldn’t my teacher (no not) read the book, that is, '' The Phantom of the Opera''.
'' The Phantom of the Opera'' is a fiction combining (no form) romance with horror.
The story was set in late 19th century at Paris in the opera theatre, which was where the main figure Phantom first crossed over Christine’s path (no at there).
The film centered around the relationship of 3 persons: Christine, Raoul and Phantom .
Phantom was a man who had a horrible face and always wore a mask. He fell in love with Christine, his student. But the chorus girl Christine chose to live with Raoul and at the same time her sympathy made (no the) Phantom leave them alone.
There are two reasons for me to explain why my teacher should not read this book.
First of all, I think the level of the book is too easy for my teacher to read it because the series(系列) I chose was ''quality English learning'' and the object were students. In this book, each chapter will have one exit test for student to do. It can help students to improve their reading skills. But I think teachers do not need these because their English level have already obtained other people’s recognition, just like a secondary student seeing the primary school level book. The level is not suitable for them. The will feel bored to read it.
At the same, teachers may (no will) think there is no challenge (no need for this sentence because this is a repeat of the earlier sentence - and have feel borning if the book level is too easy for them to read.)
At this time, I would like to ask all of you whether you have seen this flim before?

Secondly, the book was released after the film had been put on the Cinema and the film was very famous when it was on screen. So I think most of the people had seen it before. Also, this may include many teachers.

When people have seen it before and knew about the plot, I think they will no more interested to see the book because they lost the curiosity and surprise.

However, from another point of view, a film can bring vision and sound entertainment to the teachers, but the book cannot. Therefore, I think most of the teachers would like to choose the film more than the book .

Frist of all , I think the level of the book is too low for teachers to read because the series I choose is ''quality english learning'' and the object should be students.In this book, each charter will have one exit test for student to do. This can improve students' reading skills.However I do not think that teachers need these because their English level has already gained others approval.If teachers are required to read the book, it will just like asking a secondary stundent to read a primary school level book . The level is low for them.They will feel bored while reading it .Moreover,teachers maybe think that it is not challenging at all as the book is too easy.

Second,the book is published after the flim is produced .It was very popular when it was screened .Therefore I think manypeople had seen it before . If people had seen the film version before, they will know all the plots. I think they will have no interest to read the book because they lose the curiosity to read it and there will be no surprise for them.

However I think a flim can bring visual and audio pleasure to teachers which books cannot provide. Therefore, I think most of the teachers would like to chosse to see the flim rather than read the book .
