sedimentation:
1) waste water treatment(e.g. in your home, you use sedimentation after eating noodle and before you pour the waste water into sink)
2) In your aqurium, sedimentation is used to filter the water (to remove waste made by your fish)

distillation:
1) cooking coffee
2) and the distilled water you drink is made by distillation

water bath就是水浴，或者更貼切的用中文來形容，就是「燉」了。這是一種以水作為加熱煤介的加熱方法，加熱工具（例如本生燈）的熱力會先傳到水中，熱力再從水傳到反應物處，這方法可保持反應物身處的溫度維持在恆常的攝氏100度。
