-11 + 4 < 3x < -3 + 4

ok the goal is to get x by itself
-add 4 to all sections of inequality, gives: -7<3x<1

-now simply divide by 3 to isolate x, gives: -7/3<x<1/3

*remember the direction of signs must change when dividng by a negative number but that does not apply here because we did not do so

-11+4<3x-4+4< -3+4
