Taro Chicken Pot w/Coconut Milk
Indgredients : 1 Chicken
1/2 catty taro
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 can coconut milk
Seasoning : 1 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp cornflour
1 tsp chicken powder
A dash of seasame oil & a pinch of pepper
Method : (1) Peel & rinse taro. Cut it into pieces & steam until done.
(2) Rinse & chop chicken into pieces. Add in seasonings.
(3) Heat some oil, saute ginger, garlic & spring onion. Put
in the chicken and then the taro, coconut milk and
evaporated milk. Cook until done and thicken with
Stewed Beancurd w/Fried Gluten Puff & Dried Beancurd Skin Flakes
Ingredients : 3 pcs of beancurd
(4 portions) 5 pcs of fried gluten puff
6 pcs of black mushroom
2-3 stalk of dried beancurd skin flakes
1 slice of ginger
1 tsp chopped garlic
Seasonings : 1 cup of chicken broth
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp Chue Hau sauce
Some sugar
Method : (1) Wash and scald fried gluten puffs and soak dried
beancurd skin flakes then cut into sections.
(2) Thickly slice beancurd then deep fry.
(3) Saute garlic, ginger and black mushroom. Add
seasonings & all ingredients, bring to boil and
stew for 8 mins, thicken with cornflour water.
