  May 6, 2008

  Dear Mr. Hai,

As you may know, Jack Cafferty recently gave an interview to Bill Press, a nationally syndicated political commentator in the United States. During that interview he was asked about his recent remarks that have been the subject of controversy in China and the United States. Mr. Cafferty responded :”And the one thing I regret was that some Chinese citizens in China and Chinese-Americans in this country felt like maybe I was insulting them. And that was never my intention. And I am sorry for that…”

I hope this clarifies matters for you.

  Sincerely,

  David C. Vigilante

  Vice President-Legal

  David C. Vigilante

首先,果句“And the one thing I regret was that some Chinese citizens in China and Chinese-Americans in this country felt like maybe I was insulting them….blah blah blah..

真誠既道歉通常會用 “ I apologize”或者“I sincerely apologize”。

A: I failed the exam.
B: I am sorry to hear that.

1) No, the above only more like an explaination & find excuses for what Jackass said in CNN last month. The words were insulting Chinese deeply who they dislike or jealous of.
2) USA is not willing to give up business from China, indeed, they cant afford it. Therefore, they are in a dam-n embarrassing situation to amend what Jackasshad said.
3) They hate to say sorry, apologizing etc. because they still think they are the leading country in the world today. In there mind; the King never say sorry to others for whatever evil, ugly or illegal thing HE did.
4) Response - I hope this clarifies matters for you. NO,THIS IS NOT CLARIYING ANY THING FOR CHINESE.
