Did Saddam suffered on the rope?

I still think he got off easy. Death is an easy way out and he deserved to suffer for years. He died instantly though, people only chock and strangle when the rope is tied wrong or the drop is too low, they dropped him fairly high and the rope was of course tied right for someone with his power.

From what I saw, his neck snapped instantly. But about four inches of his skin peeled up like an onion because of the rope.

Saddam was a good president. There was never car bombing or people shooting each other in the streets.I'm sure he died instantly and that's when Iraq went nuts.The Iraqi people are killing each other faster than Saddam was killing them..You must keep animals in a cage.

He didn't suffer as much as the people of Iraq did when he was in charge. I think they should have tortured him for a while.

i remember him ..he said as per media.. i am a president of a nation, and you are a president. A bold, a brave ..becoz of his disobedience to a nation..that brought him to the gallows. i am not interested to describe and who ever they may be that will give heartpain.. please go through old news papers or website. we are all the nationals of India and we feel sad and sorrow,if anyone met an accident or death in any part of the world. we born and grow in this mentality. Actually, i want to skip this question, but taking it as an opportunity, i expressed this answer.
