✔ 最佳答案
x(x-5)+6=x^2-5x+6
=x^2-2x-3x+6
= x(x-2)-3(x-2)
= (x-3)(x-2)

1st step: just expand
2nd step: find two numbers that add to -5 and multiply to 6
3rd step: factorise
4th step:put the x-3 in brackets and x-2

Factor:
= x(x - 5) + 6
= x² - 5x + 6
= (x - 3)(x - 2)

Answer: x = 3, 2

Check (x is 3):
3(3 - 5) = - 6
3(- 2) = - 6
- 6 = - 6

Check (x is 2):
2(2 - 5) = - 6
2(- 3) = - 6
- 6 = - 6

x(x - 5) + 6

Expand it out.

x^2 - 5x + 6

Factor it as a quadratic.

(x - 2)(x - 3)

First expand it:

X^2-5x+6

Then factor it:

(x-3)*(x-2)

in terms of the backside (it fairly is the bit you're caught with) the actuality that there is 2x^2 is the main important. the only thank you to get 3 is by using multiplying 3 and one million, so its in basic terms a case of looking the appropriate sign and precise thank you to place into brackets: (2x-one million)(x+3) supplies 2x^2 + 6x - x -3.....wish that facilitates you to hold ont!

x² - 5x + 6
(x - 3)(x - 2)
2008-05-08 11:25 am
x(x-5)+6
=x2-5+6
=(x-5)(x+6)
2008-05-08 10:22 am
x(x - 5) + 6
= x*x - 5*x + 6
= x^2 - 5x + 6
= (x - 3)(x - 2)
2008-05-08 10:19 am
X^2 - 5X + 6
X^2 -3X -2X +6
X(X-3) -2(X-3)
(X-3) (X-2)
X = -2,-3

distribute the x
x^2-5x+6
then factor so when you foil you get whats above
(x-3)(x-2)
