05.設立地點
麥當勞的設置多半都會位於人潮洶湧的地方或是交通便利的地方,這是所有的麥當勞共通的現象,除此之外,因為各地的主要活動族群不同,所以在麥當勞我們看到的主要顧客也就不一樣,台灣的地理範圍本來就不像美國那樣幅員廣大,人口密度也大多了,麥當勞文化到了台灣還是因應了國情的不同而做了一些改變。
雖然說終極目標還是在於洶湧的人潮,但是各地區的麥當勞也會因為人潮的種類不同而會有不同的經營策略。

在每個時間點,麥當勞總會順應潮流,鎖定不同顧向族群,創造新客源,例如未來麥當勞將鎖定i世代為服務對象,新的世代不是由區域、種族或年齡構成,而是由生活型態決定,因此,麥當勞的產品、服務與賣場也將跟著改變,以符合此世代族的需求。
07.廣告促銷手法
麥當勞設計顧客的一個很重要的步驟就是它的宣傳。宣傳是一個營利單位吸引顧客的必要手法,從台灣近十年來的現象中,我們知道麥當勞透過了廣告、包裝、促銷等許多多元並且有統一意念的宣傳手法,成功地達到了效果:說服、形象塑造,以及吸引消費。在台灣,麥當勞的廣告策略從不是一成不變的,這和麥當勞在台灣的社會意義變遷有關。1984年麥當勞被引進台灣的初期對台灣民眾來說是
