I think this is one of the way you can learn first aid. However, St.John & AMS also have such course.

In HK, many association would join HKRC/ St. John to have first aid training course in the regular basin. If you only want to learn first aid, I think you better choose the course from such association rather than join Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) be their member as HKRC not only have first aid. They have their own vision and mission to serve the community.
