if the voltage impressed across a circuit is held cunstant while the resistance doubles, what changes occurs in the current?

Ohm's law is:In a conductor current is directly proportional to voltage and inversely proportional to resistance.
I = V / R
where
I stands for current
V voltage
R resistance
If voltage is held constant increasing the resistance decreases current. Inverse of double is half.
