1. L is a line in the rectangular coordinate plane parallel to the x-axis and it passes through a point M(2,-2)
a) If a point Q is the image when a point P(-3,3) is reflected in L, find the coordinates of Q.
b) If a point Q is the image when M is reflected in a vertical line passing through Q in part (a), find the coordinates of R.

2. The point B(3,4) is obtained when a point A is rotated clockwise about the origin through 270 degree.
a) What are the coordinates of A?
b) If A is rotated anticlockwise about the origin through 90 degree to the point C, what are the coordinates of C?

1a)
L: y=-2
vertical distance between P and line L = 3-(-2) = 5
Q(-3, -7)

b)
Vertical line: x = -3
horizontal distance between M and the line = 2-(-3) = 5
R(-8, -2)

2a)
(-3, -4)

b)
(-4, 3)
