1. The car crash in Sai Kung
This accident was related to a speedy tourist bus driving down the sloppy road and punched to an sound proofed wall in a bending curve. This accident led to the death of 18 people and 43 others were injured. The bus driver claimed that there was a technical problem of the bus, but according to the primary investigation of the Police, the reason for this accident was due to over-speeding of the tourist bus.
I think this is a very severe accident and feel really sorry for the death, the injured and those who lost their relatives. I wish the Government will assist them both financially and psychologically. At the same time I hope that careless bus driver will receive a punishment he deserved.

2. The torch
Yesterday I was really happy because it was the date that the torch was being transferred in Hong Kong . I was proud of it. Yesterday the torch was transferred via Tsimshatsui, Nathan Road , The Tsing Ma Bridge and Shatin. Atmosphere along the way was up high with citizens’ cheering endlessly. There were totally 120 torch bearers transferring the torch which included artists, sportsman and representatives from commercial field. Celebration activities were held in all places to support this event, including schools.
Actually I would really want to watch the whole process of the transfer of torch. However I could not because we had to go to school yesterday. Hence I doubt why can’t the Government make it a holiday for all primary and secondary schools ? Transferring of torch is a spectacular event !
After the transfer of torch finished its whole day journey in Hong Kong, I feel that Hong Kong is a place with good disciplines because no one tried to attack the torch bearers.

Only exception was a little confusion of order which is much better when comparing with other cities. I think other cities should treat the disciplines of Hong Kong as their model. Finally I wish the Beijing Olympic Games can be carried out smoothly and successfully !

2. Torch
