Chinese New Year is a Chinese festival. It is usually in January or February in the lunar calendar.What do people do on New Year Day?People like cleaning the flat before Chinese New Year. And then, they hang up some red papers with some blessing words. On the other hands, my mother and grandmother are busy all day because they are busy to make some delicious food such as rice cakes, dumplings...
I like this festival because I can wear some new clothes and get red packets from my relatives. When we see others, we say Kung Hey Fai Choy. It means you bless others to be rich. Last year, I can get red packets about $10000. I save it in the bank for studying in the future.Now I am looking forward to celebrate this festival later.
