x^2 -xy +xy -y^2
x^2 - y^2
= (x + y)(x - y)
= x² - xy + xy - y²
= x² - y²
Answer: x² - y²
(x + y)(x - y)
= x*x + x*y - x*y - y*y
= x^2 + xy - xy - y^2
= x^2 - y^2
x² - xy + xy - y²
x² - y²
when you have a similar situation you have to consider only the negative part and u have to elevate both of the members to 2... so the answer is:
x^2 - y^2
Byeeeeeee By an Italian girl

Glad to help! ^__^
yeah everyone is right x square - y square
x(x-y)+y(x-y), which is:
x²-xy+yx-y² and that gives:
x²-y². This is an IDENTITY, so better learnt it ..........
(x + y)(x - y) = x^2 + xy - xy - y^2 = x^2 - y^2
x^2 - y^2
By the way, it is called Difference of Two Squares.
